Liam Grabie

  • Hometown: Sharon, MA

  • What I love most about camp: The thing I love most about camp has to be the everlasting brotherhood of West End. At camp you are placed in a bunk with 10-12 other kids at age 8 and come back to the same group of guys every year until you are 15. The experience of coming back to camp every summer to all your friends is hard to put into words. Not only do you create long lasting memories with your bunkmates, but you embark on the journey of becoming a man together. Additionally, what makes West End so special are the counselors who have all been campers themselves and experienced the magic of West End. The dedicated staff men provide the West End experience to their campers, creating a ”cycle of life” at camp. I have been lucky enough to have West End in my life and now it is my turn to carry on camp’s tradition to the next generation of West Enders and make their experience as amazing as mine has been.

Adult Staff

Ryan Wilensky (Director)

  • Hometown: Stoughton, MA
  • Years at WEHC: 28 years
  • What I love most about camp: I supposed everything isn’t a great answer. Seeing friendships evolve, seeing counselors put a lot of thought and effort into a new activity and watching it be amazing (ex. ESPN Night, Fortnite, Walking Dead), seeing pictures of West Enders hanging out as campers, counselors, then adults. We have such a special community. It was a privilege growing up in it and now getting to watch the next generation having the same magical experience I had, makes me incredibly happy.
